Scottish Fire and Rescue Services awarded the design and build contract to our Building division.
The works are constructed to specific design criteria for the purpose of training and thus the construction methods and material choices have had to be designed and installed to meet strict design criteria whilst maintaining fit for purpose use.
Works included site clearance, underground services, multi storey brickwork, steel and concrete construction and the erection of specialised confined space training units in steel and concrete. The contract also comprised of all internal and external finishes including; electrical, mechanical, gas, windows, doors, roofing, solar panelling and steel balustrading. Finishing works consisted of an outdoor wilderness area as well as roads, footpaths, street lighting and landscaping.
