FK Lowry have recently completed Piling Works for a new Network Rail Bridge Structure at Winchburgh near Edinburgh.
FK Lowry were subcontracted to install 28 No. 900mm dia. Large Diameter Rotary Bored Piles for a new Bridge spanning the Mainline Railway into Edinburgh. The new project is being delivered by Perth based I&H Brown and marks another major milestone for Winchburgh Developments in their continued delivery of the Winchburgh Masterplan.
The Winchburgh Scheme continues a longstanding relationship with I&H Brown as FK Lowry have now delivered specialist piling works for them at Goole Windfarm and Broken Cross Windfarm.
We initially engaged with I&H Brown some 12 months before delivering the Winchburgh project. This started with Site visits to oversee the Ground Investigation and issuing Cost Plan Budget and Programme information to I&H Brown. The scheme developed through further site visits and technical meetings to the point when we secured the scheme and I’m delighted to say, successfully delivered the project for a satisfied client. We look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with I&H BrownMark McKeown, Business Development Manager
