H&J Martin are delighted to be working with SERC who has received funding through the Apprenticeship Challenge Fund for two new projects that will support new and innovative approaches to the development, recruitment and delivery of apprenticeships.
The Challenge Fund is part of the Department for the Economy NI Apprenticeship Recovery Package for Northern Ireland which channels financial support to help the apprenticeship system respond to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis.
H&J Martin, SERC and the Automatic Door Suppliers Association Ltd will work together to develop new apprenticeships for the Automated Entrances Industry.
Kieron Millar (H & J Martin Director) Commented :
“H & J Martin are passionate about providing employment opportunities for young people in our communities and are thrilled to be able to actively engage with South Eastern Regional College, The Automatic Door Suppliers Association and other stakeholders in seeking to create this new apprenticeship. We are keen to see this apprenticeship established and excitedly looking forward to seeing the first intake of apprentices that will help meet a skills shortage in this sector of industry".
