Lagan Aviation and Infrastructure has been selected as a delivery partner by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) to support the UK Armed Forces at overseas Ministry of Defence (MOD) bases. Under the five-year £560 million Overseas Capital Framework contract, Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure will be actively involved in a variety of significant infrastructure improvement projects. These projects encompass housing, diplomatic offices, runways, and airfields situated in various overseas locations, including Cyprus, Gibraltar, South Atlantic Islands, Kenya, Singapore, Belize, Norway, and throughout the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Overseas Estate.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office estate stands as a distinctive and immensely diverse public asset, comprising over 4,600 properties primarily situated overseas. Operating across 268 overseas locations, the FCO's presence spans 156 countries and 12 overseas territories.
