Launched at the start of January, Business in the Community’s Citywide Employers’ Forum is gathering support. Lagan Construction Group is delighted to be one of the sponsors supporting this initiative.
Work has already started to help people in some of the most deprived areas of Belfast find work and start changing their lives for good. The Forum will build on the success of over a decade of work by the West Belfast and Greater Shankill Employers’ Forum which has assisted almost 1,400 people find employment.
Sponsored by Lagan Construction Group, Bombardier Aerospace, the Department for Employment & Learning and Belfast City Council, the Citywide Employers’ Forum is working alongside community employability bodies to develop interventions to help those out of work develop new skills and subsequently assist them into sustained employment.
